In a recent interview, Yoga Guru Ramdev Baba said that to bring the economy back on track we have to go ‘local’, and to promote ‘local’, we have to be ‘vocal’ (sic). This comes on the heels of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address to the nation, where he announced a package of Rs 20 lakh crore for the upliftment of the nation’s economy. He even urged the citizens to stay vocal for local. He encouraged all the Indians to promote the use of Indian-made products as it will help the local businessmen to upscale their operations.

Further, Baba Ramdev said that he has always believed in the ideology of a self-reliant India, and to encourage the idea, he started the brand Patanjali. He claimed that if all Indians focus on making the nation self-dependent, we will surpass strong economies like China in no time.
