Namma Beloved Muttu Has Handsomely Redefined The Lungi Trend And We Can’t Keep Calm

If you love lungis too, his confidence will help you carry it off like a boss!

Muttu Has Refined The Lungi Trend And You Will Love Every Bit

Chethan Vicky, from the popular TV serial Yaare Nee Mohini, has an amazing fashion sense in reel and real life. Firstly, I would like to commend the brilliant talent this star has as an actor and as an entertainer! For all those of you who have watched the show, may have noticed Muttu wearing a lungi, a long piece of rectangular garment that resembles a sarong. It is popularly worn in the Southern parts of India and goes by many names.

Maya gets a horrible dream about Belli and Muttu in this episode:

It may not seem to look like more than a long cloth slightly bigger than an average towel, but I can assure you looks can be deceptive. Many men in the Southern states of the country would prefer to wear a lungi regularly over wearing other alternatives. Chethan Vicky for one, has handsomely refined the Lungi trend, don’t you think?

A traditional lungi comes in various designs and patterns, the most popular being the white lungi with golden embroidery. These garments certainly make a man look dashing (take Chethan Vicky for example) but also make it comfortable apparel to wear. As compared to a panchewhich is ideally worn on special occasions, a lungi can be worn for any occasion, be it a sports event, a manner of physical labour, to relax or even to dance. Isn’t that super cool? Not to forget, it feels extremely light to wear, thereby increasing your level of comfort.

Also, if you ever want to beat the summers, a lungi is your go-to garment and we are damn serious! Have you ever worn a lungi before? Would you like to know the steps of how to wear one? Let us know what you think in the comments space below.
