The actress spoke about having lost 18 kgs within five years and explains how she began to lead a healthy life. Here are a few tips that you can keep in mind.
Shraddha truly proves that slow and steady wins the race. Rather than setting up ambitious goals for herself, she decided to take baby steps and make gradual progress. For instance, she began her weight loss journey by just running on a treadmill for five minutes, then increased it to 15 and finally settled for a whole 40 minutes without a break. Let your body take its time to get used to the routine and soon, you will see the results for yourself.
Sleep On Time
It’s a known fact that sleep is one of the most important factors for your physical well-being. You need to sleep at least for seven hours for your mind and body to recuperate. If you compromise on it, you will end up feeling sluggish and low on energy which will consequently affect your diet and fitness regime. Try relaxation techniques such as meditation and yoga for a good night’s sleep. Eating a small bedtime snack such as whole grain cereal with milk, oatmeal, or chamomile tea of foods have proved to help shift the body and mind into sleep mode. Darken your room more and turn your clock away from you, if nothing else helps. The body will soon get used to this routine.
