In the previous episode of Jothe Jotheyali, Arya gets a call from the reception, stating that Anu and Subbu have come to visit him to talk about Anu’s career. Subbu tells Arya that Anu must complete her studies, only after which, he will grant her permission to travel for work. Another reason that he gives Arya, is that he does not think it is appropriate for Arya and Anu to travel alone.
In this episode, Arya and Jhende have a conversation about Anu. The two argue about having to take Anu to London, when Arya asks him about what he told Subbu when he visited their house. He also tells him that he must have said something, as the Jhende that he used to be, instead of trying to make them understand that this opportunity will help Anu. Jhende tells him that everything he did was for the betterment of the company and Arya’s well-being. Arya finally walks off.
Meanwhile at home, Pushpa is trying to solve the problem of garbage disposal and complains to the area manager. She tells him that the whole area has started smelling of garbage and that they had filed a complaint on the same. Just then one of neighbours intervenes and threatens the area manager to solve this problem. Pushpa tries to stop her neighbour from talking to the manager aggressively. However, the manager says that one of the residents has spoken to the garbage workers disrespectfully and hence, they have refused to pick up the garbage from that area.
At the office, Jhende, elsewhere, is looking at a childhood picture of Neel and gets unexplainably sentimental while doing so. Just then, Neel comes and asks him where he found the picture from, to which he does not say anything. Arya calls Harsha to his office and tells him to look after the company when he leaves for London. Harsha agrees.
