In the previous episode of Gattimela, everyone has gone on a picnic. At Amulya’s house, her mother starts to get upset thinking about how all her daughters will be married off and the house will be empty eventually. Meanwhile, the manager at the resort tries to woo Amulya by giving her a special welcome drink that makes her feel uncomfortable. Elsewhere, Parmanand tells Vedanth’s mother that he suspects if the family has actually gone to visit a temple that she disregards.
In this episode, everyone has worn clothes that are different from how they usually do. Amulya tells Adya that she is sure Vedanth will wear formal clothes to show off his status. But instead , for the first time, Vedanth wears an informal attire. Amulya can’t get her eyes off him. While everyone is discussing what the others have worn, the real star – Vedanth’s grandma – enters. They’re all amazed to see her. All of them begin to discuss which game to play. While some want to play cricket the other are okay with anything. Vedanth’s grandmother chooses to be the umpire. Amulya suggests that everyone play lagori (a game of 7 stones) as they used to play that in their childhood. She also mentions that it is a fun game to indulge in with a lot of people.
Vedanth and Amulya challenge each other to win the game. They get divided into teams and begin to play. Meanwhile, Amulya’s parents visit Vedanth’s house to invite them for a ritual. Vedanth’s mother acts in a very cruel manner towards Amulya’s parents.
At the resort, Vedanth lets Amulya win just to make her happy. Adya and Vikrant suspect that Vedanth is seriously developing feelings for Amulya.
