3 Of Trump’s Key Officials Infected With Coronavirus At The White House

The three were infected after coming into contact with two White House staffers.


There have been over 80 thousand deaths in the United States, due to the coronavirus,  which has now reached the White House. Three of Donald Trump’s key officials who were guiding the coronavirus response, are in self-quarantine, after coming into contact with two White House staffers, who had tested positive for COVID-19. One of them being Katie Miller, Mike Pence’s press secretary and wife of Trump’s senior adviser, Stephen Miller. 

Among the three key officials infected are, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and  Stephen Hahn, commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration. The three of them will be going into quarantine.

Over 1.3 million cases have been reported in the US. The White House has been facing intense backlash for the manner in which it is handling the crisis.
